Apple Users Group of Anne Arundel County

The Apple Users
Group of Anne Arundel County will hold its first meet of the new year
on Saturday, January 18, from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Severna Park Library
Meeting Room. Visitors are always welcome. Time is always allotted
for networking, questions and technical assistance.

The newest access
point for Apple Users Group activities is its Facebook Page,
www.facebook.com/annapolisappleslice.
To
introduce this new feature of the Apple Users Group, Jim Miller, an
Apple Users Group member, will give an introduction to the Facebook
Page organization, what general information is available on the Page,
and a call for suggestions on what to add, how to improve the Page,
and feedback on its utility to the membership. Following Jim Millers
presentation, there will be another very popular feature of Apple
Users Group meetings, the Q&A. “Did you receive any new Apple
toys last year?”, “Want to ask some very specific questions about
your new mobile device or perhaps the apps that populate your
device?” Now would be a good time to bring your questions to the
meeting. Time permitting, the membership will kick off a users survey
on the composition of computers, iPads, iPhones and iPods within our
membership population. Here's your chance to your showoff your unique
Apple landscape. In addition, the survey will be asking how the
membership uses their computers and devices. Survey results will
become the focus of future topics and guest speakers scheduled during
2014.
