Where to Buy a Christmas Tree in Severna Park

Patch has rounded up some places where you can get a Christmas tree in Severna Park.

In my opinion, there is no better time of year than Christmas.

I love shopping for presents, baking cookies, hauling out decorations and finding the perfect tree.

To help you and your family find your tree, I went and checked out some of the Christmas tree locations in Severna Park. Here’s what I found out:

Diehl’s Produce (50 McKinsey Rd.)
Hours: 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. Daily
Types of Trees: Fraser Fir, Douglas Fir, White Pine, Scots Pine, Blue Spruce
Price Range: $15-$150 from table top trees to 13- and 14-foot trees
Additional Information: Abigail Diehl said Diehl’s Produce has been selling trees for 41 years and keeps long hours so families can come and pick out their tree together at a time that is convenient for them. Diehl’s also offers live trees that you plant yourselves, double-sided and single-sided wreaths, as well as white pine roping.

Gary’s Gardens (651 Ritchie Highway)

Types of Trees: Noble Fir, Fraser Fir, Douglas Fir
Price Range: Douglas $45-65; Fraser $39-80; Noble $80-90
Additional Information: If you tell owner Garry Blondell what kind of tree you are looking for he can find you a perfect match. His personal favorite is the Noble Fir, which he says are traditionally the most expensive, but beautiful and long lasting. Gary’s also has wreaths, live trees and tabletop trees.

Homestead Gardens (522 Ritchie Highway)

Hi Kristiane. Thanks for your comment. This obviously isn't a complete list—just the places I could track down yesterday for information. I can continue to update it as readers suggest more places. Thanks!
