Traffic Delays Expected in Severna Park Thursday

Anne Arundel County police are advising there may be traffic delays in Severna Park on Thursday due to the viewing service for Lance Cpl. William Taylor Wild IV.

Delays may occur on Ritchie Highway (Route 2) northbound near Robinson Road from 2 to 8 p.m., police said.

Wild’s viewing will be held at Barranco & Sons Funeral Home on Thursday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m.

There will be uniformed police officers present to assist with traffic control and direction in the area of the funeral home.

Funeral services for Wild will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at Unitarian Universalist Church in Annapolis with a reception to follow at the Whitehurst Community Clubhouse in Severna Park.

Interment at Arlington National Cemetery will be held April 2 with the procession meeting at 10:30 a.m. at the Memorial Gate.
