Top 5: Movie Extras Needed in SP, Memorial Garden Built

3. Local Filmmaker Seeking Extras for Severna Park Scene
Severna Park filmmaker Don Hutcheson, of Liftoph Productions, is shooting a scene for his upcoming movie For Love of a Fish atKyoto Japanese Steakhouse on July 19 and 20, and is looking for extras to fill the restaurant.

4. Dress for Success Brings Confidence Building to Severna Park
Dress for Success Baltimore marked the official opening of its Severna Park satellite location at the community center on Wednesday. The organization promotes economic independence for disadvantaged women and is looking to open up its services to the Anne Arundel County area.

5. SPHS Student Sings National Anthem with BSO
Erin Paxton, a rising senior at Severna Park High School, won the  Baltimore Symphony Orchestra’s annual “O, Say Can You Sing” competition. Paxton competed against more than 20 other vocalists and won the opportunity to sing the National Anthem at at Oregon Ridge on July 4.
