Severna Park High School graduate Sierra Knoch will be inducted into the Naval Academy on Thursday and will pursue a career as a Navy pilot—a mission inspired entirely by a friend.

5. Maxwell to Take PG County Schools Post
Superintendent Kevin Maxwell formally stepped down from his post Thursday after it was announced that he will take over as CEO of Prince George's County Schools.
