The Severna Park Community Center (SPCC) unveiled a new $60,000 fitness center on Thursday night at a ribbon cutting ceremony.

Anne Arundel County Police are asking for help identifying a person they said stole a purse from a car at Anne Arundel Community College, then used the stolen credit card at the Royal Farms in Severna Park.

5. Severna Park Grads Collect $13.5 Million in Scholarships
Graduates from Severna Park High collected $13.5 million in scholarships in 2013, helping the Anne Arundel County Public Schools set a record for most collected in a single year.
