1. Breakfast Shoppe’s ‘Taylor Wild Day’ Honors a Hero
Plenty of love, tears and patriotism could be seen at The Breakfast Shoppe on June 29  as the restaurant celebrated 'Taylor Wild Day' with waffles and a check totaling more than $3,000 for Friends of the Fallen. You can check out a video of the check presentation here.

2. What’s Going On with the Old Post Office?
The former Severna Park Post Office has had a hand-written note on the door for several months indicating a new sandwich shop was coming to the area, but signs of visible progress have been scarce.

3. SPHS Student Wins Baltimore Symphony Orchestra Competition
Erin Paxton, a rising senior at Severna Park, won the BSO’s annual “O, Say Can You Sing” competition. Paxton competed against more than 20 other vocalists and won the opportunity to sing the National Anthem July 4. 

4. Celebrate Fourth of July in Severna Park
Severna Park's annual Fourth of July festivities took place on Saturday. The day featured pancakes, musical performances, a parade and more.
