1. Breakfast Shoppe Honors Taylor Wild with Fundraiser
Before Lance Cpl. Taylor Wild left for training in California, he stopped by The Breakfast Shoppe for chicken and waffles. Now the restaurant is honoring Taylor's memory by raising funds for Friends on the Fallen.

2. Jimmy John’s Set to Open April 16 in Severna Park
Jimmy John’s, the sandwich chain that specializes in being “freaky fast,” will open in Severna Park on April 16.

3. Spark Running Helps Local Woman Get Active
Before taking a training class at Spark Running, Michelle Ormond had never been one for running. After completing the class, Ormond ran in her first 5K in June 2012, and she didn’t stop there. On St. Patrick’s Day, Ormond ran in her first half-marathon, and she will be running in a 10K on June 1.

4. Holy Grounds Gets $15K New Look
Thanks to , Holy Grounds will be ready for full-use on Monday. With help from local volunteers, Home Depot gave Holy Grounds new paint, floors, cabinets and countertops, in addition to a new refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher and sink.

5. Johnson Headed to Disney World After Kidney Donation
Nearly five months after Severna Park Middle custodian Dovell Johnson donated a kidney to his brother, he has made a full recovery. In fact, he is doing so well that he is headed to Disney World with his 4-year-old daughter.
