Severna Park Ravens Nest Makes Donation to Hospice

Ravens Nest 10 donated $3,000 to Chesapeake Kids, a program service of Hospice of the Chesapeake.

Ravens Nest 10, based in Severna Park, donated $3,000 to a Hospice of the Chesapeake Program called Chesapeake Kids.

This is the second year in a row the Severna Park crew has made a donation to Hospice, according to a release. In 2012 Ravens Nest 10 donated $2,000 to the program.

Chesapeake Kids, a program service of Hospice of the Chesapeake, provides quality perinatal loss support to families and pediatric palliative care to children in Anne Arundel and Prince George’s County. Counseling and support programs for those grieving the loss of a loved one are also available through the Chesapeake Life Center.

Ravens Nest 10 also made a . Each year the Ravens Nest chooses five different charities to support. The SPCA and Hospice have been nominated two years in a row.
