Several Severna Park Organizations Seek Funds Through 'Great Give'

The Anne Arundel County Great Give kicks off Wednesday night. Nonprofits participating including the Severna Park Community Center.

Several local nonprofits have signed up to receive donations through the GreatGive of Anne Arundel County, which kicks off Wednesday evening. 

Beginning at 7 p.m., anyone can hop online and donate money to a wide range of causes. The GreatGiveAAC runs for 24 hours. 

The program is being run by Razoo, an online movement allowing groups to set up online fundraising. The group claims to have helped raise more than $150 million for various nonprofits.
