PHOTOS: Sandy Slams Severna Park

Here are some photos from the damage Sandy has caused around Severna Park.

Sandy ripped through the Severna Park area on Monday leaving downed trees and power lines along with flooding in some areas.

There are several power lines down on the Baltimore and Annapolis (B&A) Trail along with a fallen tree and some flooding. Residents in the Round Bay community are also experiencing some standing water.

Other areas of Severna Park are also experiencing problems with flooding. The field outside of Severna Park Baptist Church has a substantial amount of water.

While many intersections on Benfield Boulevard and Ritchie Highway are without out power, or have blinking lights—the roads seem to be in pretty good shape considering the amount of rain and wind Sandy brought.
