Home & Garden Show Saturday at Holy Grounds

Local businesses will be on hand to talk about their products and services and an antique appraiser is the guest speaker.

More than 30 businesses will be showcasing their home and garden products and services at the second annual Severna Park Spring 2012 Home & Garden Show on Saturday.  

The show is from 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. in the Holy Grounds building and in the courtyard outside of the (SPCC).

Todd Peenstra, president of Peenstra Antiques Appraisals of Annapolis, will be a featured speaker. He will answer questions and provide appraisals for art, antiques, and general household items.

The types of businesses participating are custom home building and renovation; gutters; handyman; fencing; kitchen and bath; framing; furniture; flooring and interior and exterior design.

Volunteers Liz Montaner of Coldwell Banker and Mary Quayle of Quayle & Company and Barefoot Dwelling are the organizers of the show.

This community-based fundraiser relies on local businesses to come out and help raise money for the SPCC. Last year's event raised $4,000 with 34 area businesses attending, according to a news announcement.
