County Seeks Donations for Homeless Resource Day

Residents can leave items by the mailbox for pickup, or drop off at the Severna Park library.

Donations are needed for a joint food drive to benefit Homeless Resource Day and Healthy Harvest for the Hungry, according to a county press release.

Children and adults can access transportation, medical, housing, and job assistance, as well as personal hygiene and quality of life resources at Homeless Resource Day to be held March 31 at Glen Burnie High School.

Collection boxes will be available at the Arundel Center and all four Heritage office buildings on Riva Road in Annapolis for Homeless Resource Day.

County residents can also participate in the Healthy Harvest for the Hungry drive by leaving specified items by your mailbox from March 3-10. According to the press release, your letter carrier will pick them up and deliver them to the Anne Arundel County Food Bank. Items will also be accepted at the , Annapolis, West County, North County and Crofton libraries.
