Black Friday: Must-Shop Locations in Severna Park

The holiday shopping season kicks off in a big way when retailers in and near Severna Park celebrate Black Friday.

That fabled day after Thanksgiving is one of the biggest sales days of the year for many stores—both national, big box chains and local retailers. It’s also one of the best days to save on items big and small as retailers pull out the stops to offer amazing deals to get customers in their doors.

Kohl's in Severna Park is a popular Black Friday destination. This year, Kohl's is presenting "Operation: Black Friday" and will be open for 24 hours starting midnight on Thanksgiving Day, according to an employee.

Hungry Black Friday shoppers should check out The Breakfast Shoppe, which  will be to one lucky winner. The restaurant will open at 6 a.m. and customers are encouraged to get there early.

If you want to do some shopping, but don't want to drag your kids along, remember the Severna Park Community Center is offering a Parent's Night Out on Friday. For $25 for your first child, and an additional $20 for each sibling, you can drop your kids off at the SPCC on Friday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
