UPDATE: More Than 80K Lose Power in Anne Arundel

More than 80,000 customers Anne Arundel County have lost power since the storm started, according to BGE's online outage map on Tuesday.

UPDATE (1 p.m. Tuesday)—More than 20,000 customers lost power between 10 p.m. Monday and noon Tuesday in Anne Arundel County.

While the region saw mostly just heavy rain on Monday morning, about 2,500 Baltimore Gas and Electric (BGE) local customers lost their power before noon. As the rain continued and winds started to pick up, the number of customers losing power increased to nearly 8,000 three hours later.

By 10:06 p.m. Monday, there were 48,889 customers out of power and a little more than 11,000 with power restored.

On Tuesday at 12:46 p.m., there were 50,617 customers out of power and 32,259 with power restored.

Outages are updated regularly on BGE's online outage map. The most concentrated area of outages was in Annapolis, the Broadneck peninsula and parts of Pasadena and west county.

BGE said Monday they are not providing individual estimated restoration times.
