Today begins the first day of Special Session. Senate in session, House tomorrow. Anne Arundel County Delegation was "briefed" by the Administration, AA County, and representatives from Cordish on the draft legislation beginning at 8 a.m. this morning.
So many questions, it was hard to find a place to start. Tried a flow chart...it went in circles. Tried an outline, it needed an outline just to follow. At this point, I only hope that the administration can answer all the questions I forwarded to them.
Why are we giving breaks to the casinos? Why are Prince George's County and Baltimore City still getting preferential treatment for money from the local jurisdiction set asides (impacts) in addition to a percentage like other jurisdictions?
