Here's a rundown of places around town that are offering specials during the game.

A 6:30 p.m. kickoff time for Sunday’s AFC Championship game featuring the Baltimore Ravens coincides nicely with dinnertime.

Whether you are looking to head out for the game, or stay in and catch the action, Patch has you covered when it comes to what to eat.

Here’s a rundown of local places to watch the game along with any carryout specials they might be offering if you plan to stay home.

Bill Bateman’s

Manager Rachel Divver said they will be expecting a crowd. During last week's game, Divver said "you couldn't even move" it was so packed with Ravens fans.

Staying In?

If you're planning to stay in and avoid crowds and long lines for food consider making some of your own game day snacks. Here are a few of my favorites:

Make your own pizza bagel bites:
Grab some mini bagels, some Ragu pizza sauce and some mozzarella cheese. Slice the bagels, lather on some sauce and sprinkle the cheese on top. Let them broil in the oven for a few minutes, and keep checking them until the cheese melts. For extra tasty bagels try adding toppings. My personal favorite topping is green peppers, but you could also add some pepperoni.

Buffalo Chicken Dip:
A crowd-pleaser during football season, Buffalo chicken dip is a great addition to any football watching affair. Cut up three large pieces of cooked chicken and mix them with 1/4 cup of hot sauce, 1 cup ranch dressing, and a package of cream cheese over medium heat. Add a cup of cheddar cheese and mix until everything is well blended. Pour the mixture into a casserole dish and put it in the oven at 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes or until it is bubbling. Add some chips and everyone will enjoy!

Ham and Cheese Pinwheels:
Like crescent rolls? Try them with ham and cheese. Lay the crescent roll flat, then roll them up with a piece of your favorite lunch meat ham and Swiss cheese, and slice the roll in half. Put them in the oven and follow the instructions on the can for baking and you’ll have a warm and delicious snack.
