Sofi’s Crepes Serving Up Sweet Treats in Severna Park

After months of anticipation, Sofi’s Crepes is finally open in Severna Park.

The shop opened on Baltimore Annapolis Boulevard on Wednesday, and I stopped by to see if all the excitement was worth it.

As soon as you enter Sofi’s Crepes you are greeted with the sweet smell of cinnamon and what can only be described as baking goodness, in my opinion. The inside is very cute, with high-top tables along the wall, each topped with a vase of beautiful flowers.

The cooking setup at Sofi’s is quite unique. The crepes are made right in the window of the store, so those passing by can see the baking, which is pretty cool. 

As for the crepes themselves—they are delicious. The menu features a wide-variety of options. From breakfast crepes, to lunch crepes, to veggie crepes, to sweet crepes—Sofi’s seems to have everything you could want (click here to see a menu).

Personally, I went with The Plain Jane, which is just cinnamon and sugar. It was good, but I think next time I would be a little more adventurous in my crepe selection. 

Prices of the crepes range from about $4.15 to $8.25. And the crepes are wrapped up very nicely, so they can be enjoyed on the go. Just give your wrap-up some time to cool off, as mine was pretty hot. 

Sofi’s was buzzing with activity when I stopped by Thursday afternoon, which could be attributed to the fact that it was opening day, but I would expect a crowd for the next few weeks. 

The staff is friendly and courteous. Some are still learning the interworking of crepe making, but they are all very nice and will get your order right.

From the looks on the line at Sofi's on Thursday, it seems like the wait was worth it—and I highly recommended you stop by and give it a try. If this article doesn’t lure you in, the smell certainly will!

Sofi’s Crepes, located at 560 Baltimore Annapolis Boulevard, is open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday-Saturday, closed Wednesday, and open 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday.
