Post Office: Signed, Sealed and Still Vacant

So now that we’re all getting accustomed to the new post office location on Magothy Bridge Road, what’s going on with the building on the old location on Baltimore Annapolis Boulevard ?

According to spokesman at NAI Michael, the Lanham, MD-based leasing agent for the building in question, the building is still available for leasing. 

To date no offers have been forthcoming. The building remains vacant.

The former post office facility is a free-standing 8,000 square foot building situated on an almost one acre parcel of land in the heart of Severna Park with more than two dozen parking spaces available. And for those who may be interested, the property is zoned C-3 for general commercial use. 

As you may recall the post office closed its former Severna Park location earlier this year after serving more than 50 years at that site. Officials cited one of the main reasons for the move was to maximize efficiency.

The new location is located within the current Magothy Bridge Road Distribution Center.
