Park Tavern Coming to Ritchie Highway

The restaurant will be completing a $1.7 million renovation project.

A new restaurant is headed for Severna Park.

Coming in September, the owners of Columbia Ale House and Pratt Street Ale House will open "Park Tavern" on Ritchie Highway, the Baltimore Business Journal reports.

This restaurant, however, will be more focused on food and less on the ales. It will reportedly offer "higher-end food and cocktails."

Co-owner Justin Dvorkin was a brewer for Fordham Brewing Company in Annapolis before becoming a restaurateur, according to the City Paper.

Business partner Donald Kelly operated bars in Connecticut before teaming up with Dvorkin to purchase the Pratt Street Ale House in 2009 and The Ale House Columbia in 2012, The Baltimore Sun reported.

The owners will put $1.7 million into renovating a yet-to-be-disclosed property that is 8,000 square feet and seats 190 people, which they will take over in April, according to Baltimore Business Journal.
