Soccer Post Opens in Severna Park

There's a new place to pick up cleats, shin guards and goalie gloves in Severna Park.

Soccer players and officials can find all their goods at Soccer Post on Ritchie Highway, which opened Saturday. 

Balls, shin guards, cleats, warm-ups, referee gear, training suits, soccer shorts and goalie gloves are available at the shop.

Billed as a soccer speciality store, Soccer Post is a New Jersey-based franchise with 32 locations around the country.

The Annapolis store, which opened in September 2012, was the company's first foray into Maryland. The Severna Park location is the second Soccer Post in the state.

Soccer Post is located at 489 Ritchie Highway in Severna Park. Hours are 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., Monday to Saturday; and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday.
