Lots to do This Weekend, Start With Today's Holiday Trade Fair in Severna Park

Head over to the Earleigh Heights Fire Hall for the trade show with school chorus performances, martial arts demonstrations, raffles, door prizes, food and refreshments.

This weekend is packed with opportunities to get out of the house and get involved with the community. Support local businesses and charities and even have some fun while doing it. Join your neighbors and take a hike, take a tug or swallow an oyster. Here are some of our picks for the weekend.

Why Go: This event sponsored by the Greater Severna Park Chamber of Commerce features local school chorus, exhibitors, raffles, food refreshments. Severna Park Patch will be there handing out water bottles while supplies last. Be sure to stop by and say hello.

What: Parent Involvement Conference

When/Where: 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Saturday, Anne Arundel Community College

Why Go: Discuss issues relating to local schools with other parents in the county
