It's a Campground at Chick-fil-A in Pasadena

Eatery to open tomorrow at 8 a.m. with more than 100 people hoping to be the first customers.

Tents of all sizes, shapes and colors are circling the Chick-fil-A at Pasadena Crossroads which is set to open Thursday at 8 a.m. to at least 100 campers hoping for the golden ticket to a year's worth of free sandwich meals.

The scene in the parking lot of the restaurant resembled a campground on concrete as the rain drizzled and a loudspeaker belted out songs from popular television series like Gilligan's Island and Bonanza. That being the early evening entertainment, later tonight, the National Weather Service predicts rain continuing  with a low of 35 degrees.

The will cut the ribbon, officially opening the restaurant at 8 a.m.
