Park Talent Performing in Broadway Favorite 'Anything Goes'
Led by Conductor J. Ernest Green of Severna Park, this zany musical promises to be a sell-out.
Park residents can expect to be bowled over this weekend as Live Arts presents Cole Porter’s zany classic musical “Anything Goes” Feb. 10-11 at Maryland Hall for the Creative Arts in Annapolis.
“This play is just plain unadulterated fun. That is the best way to describe it,” said Maestro J. Ernest Green, long-time Severna Park resident and conductor of the Annapolis Chorale since 1985.
“Cole Porter had a tremendous sense of humor and I can almost see him back in the day tickling the ivories with his friends and just having a hoot with this play. Of course the music from 'Anything Goes' is brilliant, absolutely iconic," Green said.
