The Rio Washingtonian Center hosts the return of the Gaithersburg Fine Art Festival on June 23rd and 24th, 2012.  Once again enjoy the unique opportunity to purchase original, hand-made artwork created by top national and international artisans.  On display and for sale will be more than 10,000 pieces of extraordinary original art.  Find that perfect piece for your home, your office - to enrich your life!

Stroll the tranquil environs of the Rio Washingtonian Center while being captivated by the diversity and creativity of artwork.  For sale will be the artistic creations of painters, sculptors, photographers, jewelers, digital artists, glass, fiber and ceramic artists along with artwork in mixed-media, metal, and wood. Many of these internationally acclaimed artists are represented in major museums and prestigious private collections throughout the world.  Each is selected by a jury of fine art professionals.  Artists are available throughout the event so you can engage and interact with the talented creators of your individual pieces, adding inestimable value to your purchases.  

The art festival opens Saturday June 23rd with hours from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday June 24th from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.  Admission is FREE!  The festival is located on Boardwalk Place.
