ABC's of a Capella Singing

Chesapeake Harmony Chorus Chapter of Sweet Adelines International will offer an introduction to singing four-part a capella music on Wednesday, October 24th, beginning at 7PM. The program will kick off the chorus’ Holiday Singing Celebration, inviting women to sing seasonal music with the chorus at various performances this winter.  The two-hour class will be held at the Severna Park branch of the Anne Arundel County Library, 45 West McKinsey Road, Severna Park MD 21146.

Under the guidance of Tancey Bosna, Chesapeake Harmony’s multiple award-winning Director, and with demonstrations from chorus members, you will learn what makes a capella music one of the most popular, fastest-growing musical artforms in the world, spawning television shows like The Sing-Off, Duet, and more.

Chesapeake Harmony is one of the hundreds of Sweet Adelines International choruses that make up this worldwide organization of women who sing four-part a capella harmony in the barbershop style. Any woman of average singing ability, with or without vocal training, is welcome to attend open rehearsals.
