Capitol Steps To Perform in Severna Park

The humorous political satire group will entertain on June 23 at Severna Park High School.

Tickets are available for the upcoming performance of The Capitol Steps, a  political satire group who will perform at on June 23 at 8 p.m. The performance is sponsored by the Association for Severna Park Improvement, Renewal and Enhancement (ASPIRE).

Performing since 1981, the troupe has released about 30 albums consisting primarily of song parodies. Originally, the group started with Congressional staffers performing around Washington, DC.

Today, the troupe primarily employs professional actors and singers. The Capitol Steps have performed on PBS, public radio and at other venues in the United States.

Tickets are $40 each, with $27 being tax deductible.
