AACC Schedules Ceremony Honoring the Late Robert E. Kauffman

Official dedication ceremony naming the theater in the Pascal Center after Kauffman to be August 10 and will include music, laughter, and memories.

On Aug. 10, at 7 p.m., will celebrate the life of Professor Emeritus Robert E. Kauffman at the Pascal Center for Performing Arts in the theater now named for the man who provided such profound influence on the college's performing arts department over many years.

Professor Kauffman, who of this year, headed AACC’s theater and performing arts department for over 30 years during which time he inspired countless students and colleagues to take theater arts to ever higher levels. He also contributed many ideas to the design of AACC’s theater.

Because of those contributions and many more, supporters began efforts to have the AACC theater named for Kauffman. Many local residents worked to make this happen, contacting AACC officials, and all are especially invited to join the celebration.
