Shipley's Choice Swim Team Ties Bolton Hill 243-243

It was a very close meet, Shipley's Choice Dolphins and the Bolton Hill Barracudas traded the lead back and forth until the end.

The Shipley's Choice Dolphins started the Fourth of July weekend off in a patriotic spirit by dressing in red, white and blue for their swim meet at the Bolton Hill Swim Club in Baltimore where the team carried  a sign exclaiming "Dolphins Swim Like Fireworks!"

It was an especially great meet for Katie Parker, 15, who not only took first place in every event she swam Saturday but also broke her third team record for Shipley's with a time of 1:01.44 in the 100 Freestyle event. Katie also holds the team records for 100 IM and 50 Back.

Other Dolphin first place finishers included Brooke Atcheson, John Bachkosky, Dorothy Chaudoin, Michaela Cunningham, Sophie Dietrich, Kathryn Ellwood, John Feliz, Emily Hood, Jack Hood, Allyson Muha, Matthew Phelan, Alexi Richardson, Sydney Richardson, Jackson Schultz, Morgan Schultz, Lexi Sim, Nicholas Subong,  Russ Sullivan, and Samantha Van Gieson.
