Powerball Climbs to $400 Million

The national game's next drawing is slated for Wednesday.

The Powerball jackpot it continuing to climb. 
After a long string of drawings without a winner, the Powerball jackpot has been raised to $400 million, Maryland Lottery officials announced Monday. This makes it the fourth largest U.S. jackpot, and the third largest Powerball, ever. 

The prize has a $230.3 million cash option. The next drawing will be held Wednesday.

The Maryland Lottery is one of 45 lotteries nationwide that participate in the Powerball drawing.

Powerball tickets can be purchased at any lottery vendor in Severna Park, including:

7-11: 162 Ritchie Highway and 600 Ritchie Highway
Food Lion: 466 Ritchie Highway 
Royal Farms: 517 Ritchie Highway 
Giant: 573 Ritchie Highway
