Play-Date Meal and Snack Time Advice Needed!

A Patch reader is looking for advice on what to do when you don't agree with a friend's choice of snack or meal for the kids while visiting a friend's house.

Last week, we discussed the need to share favorite meals that are quick, family-friendly and healthy.

This week, we'd like to share a reader's question on how to handle mealtime during play-dates.

"How do you keep from offending other mothers when letting them know you do not give  your child the same food they may give their child?

"I try my best to give my daughter all organic, non-GMO  (genetically modified) foods, while I have a good friend who does not make the same choices. It can make meeting for play-dates that turn into lunch-dates uncomfortable at times."
