Fri., Sept. 23

When/Where:  Fri., Sept. 23 at 8 p.m./ , (in the Robert E. Kauffman Theater in the Pascal Center for Performing Arts), 101 College Pkwy, Arnold, MD   

Why Go?:    David Tieff , a musician from Crofton, will tell his life story through word, song and digital images while playing acoustic guitar.  The title of the show is “An Addict’s Song,” and it is a fundraising event co-sponsored by the AACC Substance Abuse Education office and the student club BACCHUS (Boosting Alcohol Consciousness Concerning the Health of University Students)This show is suitable for ages 18 and up due to adult themes and language. Sat., Sept. 24

When/Where:  Sat. Sept. 24 at 7 a.m./ , 623 Baltimore Annapolis Blvd, Severna Park, MD 

Why Go?:  Help raise money in support of La Resurrection School in Gros Morne, Haiti!  St. Martin's-in-the-Field Episcopal Church is sponsoring a fundraising bike ride in support of our Haitian Partnership.  There are various distances and routes you can ride, all of them starting at the B&A Bike Trail near the Severna Park Community Center.  An ice cream social to follow the bike ride at Severna Park Community Center Holy Grounds for all registrants from 12 p.m. – 2 p.m.  Please check http://www.haiti80bikeride.com/Haiti_80/Home.html for details and registration information or email: info@haiti80bikeride.com  for additional information.

Sun., Sept. 25

When/Where:  Sun., Sept. 25 at 8 a.m./ , 1001 Kinder Farm Park Rd, Millersville, MD

Why Go?:  Come join The Focus Foundation in raising funds, FUN and awareness for children with X & Y Chromosomal Variations, Developmental Dyspraxia and Dyslexia.  Day of registration will be available starting at 8 a.m., but pre-registration is encouraged. The 5k race will begin at 9 a.m. and the family fun walk will take place throughout the morning, at your leisure. There will be prizes given out for the top male and female runners of 7 different age groups.
