“Kaylee made the Maryland state finalists cut for high school submissions. By my calculations, The Maryland Center for the Book of the Maryland Humanities Council selected the top 5% of the 2,357 plus Maryland entries for recognition. Kaylee wrote about her connection with Ursula LeGuin's "a Left-Handed Commencement Speech.”
Kaylee is also currently involved with with some of her Severn classmates. Along with her scholastic and artistic endeavors, Kaylee has extensive experience in sailing.
