Escape to the Mediterranean by Visiting Lush Gardens

Take a trip to Homestead Gardens for its Spring 2011 Garden Show.

Severna Park's latest addition to its ever-blooming list of nurseries is the oh-so-popular , now located on Ritchie Highway. You may already love to escape to its showroom and nursery.

But for this Great Escape, you need to pack a few pals in the Tahoe and head to the store's original location in Davidsonville from March 12 - 20, for a week of the sights and smells of lush Mediterranean gardens.  Classes, lectures, talks, share your stories...do what gardeners do best: DIG IN!

Planning your herb garden? Have a new trellis? Need some fresh ideas for those big fat pots on your deck? Then don't just dream about Greece, Italy and France, come learn how to re-create their ambience in your own Severna Park back yard.

With free lectures on everything from organic gardening to the care of statuary and fountains, your idea book will be more than overflowing with tips. Make a day of it or a week of it -- just make sure you get there. Then come back home and head down the street to our Homestead to stock up. The nursery is already perking up for spring.

Always top-quality and with expert advice, Homestead Gardens can be your great escape any day of the year, but this coming week it is extra-special.
