Looking to make an addition to your family? Consider attending animal control’s “Adopt-A-Thon” on Saturday.
Anne Arundel County Animal Control, located in Millersville, will be hosting an animal adoption day on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., according to a release from the police department.
The event will feature live music, face painting, a reptile display, and various rescue groups with adoptable pets. There also will be food and refreshments.
The Anne Arundel County Police Department’s K-9 Unit will do a demonstration and there will be local spay/neuter educational information and more.
During the adoption event held in May, Anne Arundel County Animal Control found homes for nearly 20 animals. It would like to exceed that number on Saturday.
