2. SAVVY

Severna Park's savviest shoppers already know about this jewel of a boutique located so conveniently in our own community. Since 2009, Savvy has been a fun, friendly place to shop for moms, teens, tweens, and toddlers, too.  Jazzy coats, fancy shoes, designer handbags and  a decorator line of reusable bags, logo’d apparel, and retro T-shirts that will keep you coming back.

The Pulitzer "Prize" goes to this consignment locale -- the Lilly's selection is to die for. Other designers can always be found tucked among the rounders at Savvy, often including a nice selection of Brighton silver and leather belts (shhh, don't tell anyone).

Savvy consigners enjoy consigning the best of the best and in turn, shoppers always leave with great deals. It pays either way at Savvy!  Talk to  owner Stacey Cassidy to get a customer rewards card -- it's a great way to make your purchases add up.

And, if you get on this chic boutique's e-mail list, you'll be the first to know when prices take a plunge. Find Savvy in the Severna Park Village Shopping Center.

Store hours vary by season, so best to call 410-647-1636.

Don’t discount the Dress Barn.  It’s been here a long time for a good reason. Have you ever ventured in? It’s a well-kept secret for many SP women, especially those in need of that last-minute dress for a special occasion.

Sizes are their specialty, with a wider range than many shops. Well-lit dressing rooms and helpful staff are another nice touch at Dress Barn. Percentage-off racks aplenty and pretty accessories to choose from.

Nighties and pantyhose, socks and jewelry, not just dresses. Surprised?  This location’s selection of scarves and pashminas is very popular, whether looking for a gift or that special something for yourself.  Check out www.dressbarn.com and find them at 558H Ritchie Highway, Severna Park.

Recently more than doubling its size, owners Glynnis Kuhblank and Jennifer Dowd are always busy behind the counter, whether chatting with a customer, taking in terrific items for sale, or setting you up with a cuppa Keurig and a croissant in the "Caffeine by Cha-Ching" corner.

Yes, they pamper their shoppers and consigners here.

You could spend an hour simply diving into the purse cubbies.
