SPark Field Hockey Advances 6 Teams to National Indoor Tournaments

Now entering the 14th season of providing youth field hockey in Anne Arundel County, SPark proudly announces that they have qualified a total of six (6) teams; two U19, two U16, a U14 and a U12 field hockey team to their respective National Indoor Tournaments (NIT's).   Club Director, Carol Pohlmeyer, proudly explained, "The NIT's pull together standout indoor clubs from across the nation for the opportunity to compete on a national stage and be crowned national champion.  It's why our girls work so hard during the season and at their qualifying events.  The end of the season invitation to the National tournaments offer our players exposure to the highest calibur of field hockey clubs and the chance to be recruited from the many college coaches in attendance.  The invitation to NIT's is a hard earned accomplishment by all of our parents, players, coaches and trainers.”
