SP Falcons fall to Arundel in AACO league play
2013 Season kicked off at Roberts Field Friday night, visiting Arundel Wildcats hoped to improve on a Playoff run that ended in a loss to the Meade Mustangs. Severna Park hoped to improve upon a 4-6 season that started off 3-1.
Senior Captains #55 Luke King and #7 Tyler Haskell represented the Falcons and took to the field on a cool early September evening.
Neither Offense looked spectacular providing turnovers early in the game. And it was Arundel that calmed down first for a 1st quarter TD. And then took a halftime lead of 19-7.
Arundel finished off the Falcons early in the 3rd quarter and ran the score up to 38-7 before a late TD by the SP squad.
Falcons take on the Southern Bulldogs next Friday night, while the Wildcats take on the Old Mill Patriots. AACO football heating up early in the season.
