Car chase down Robinson Road on January 31

Hey, Patch.  How do you forget to post the big car chase involving some 20+ county cruisers that started in Severna Park?? 

02/01/14 (WNAV) Anne Arundel Police have identified two men who were arrested after a police chase that started in Severna Park Friday morning. Police have charged 25-year-old James Snyder and 28-year-old Ian Brown with multiple charges including assault and destruction of property.

Police say more than 15 county cruisers could be seen traveling I-97 just before 10am while others were spotted going down Robinson Road around 9:30.

The chase ended with a crash at Telegraph Road and Weiker Road. Via twitter police say the pursuit began just after 9:30.

It started with officers checking a suspicious person in a vehicle near McKenzie and Ritchie Hwy. A check of the occupants revealed the driver was wanted in Baltimore City.

When the officer went to make the arrest the suspect resisted and dragged the officer. When another officer arrived the suspect turned his vehicle around and rammed a police cruiser to escape striking another car.
