Severn School Welcomes Tyler Larkin ’03 as Alumni Director

Severn School is pleased to announce the appointment of Tyler Larkin ’03 as the school’s new alumni director. A native of Severna Park and an Annapolis resident, Mr. Larkin graduated with honors from Severn in 2003, and then went on to earn a B.A. in American Studies from Washington College in 2006.  Mr. Larkin has been actively engaged with Severn School since his graduation.

Mr. Larkin's past and present Severn-related roles include coaching JV lacrosse, and working with the alumni association. He organized multiple alumni career networking events, and attended and supported numerous other events.

"The experiences and opportunities provided by my time at Severn greatly shaped who I am,” reflected Mr. Larkin. “I hope to be able to give back to the community, and further the experiences and opportunities available to Severn School alumni."

Severn School Headmaster Doug Lagarde remarked, “I believe the combination of Tyler’s experience with and his commitment to Severn make him the ideal individual to lead our alumni efforts. His passion for and dedication to his alma mater are clear."

Mr. Larkin was most recently a salesmanager with ARINC Direct in Annapolis. Prior to that,  he was in sales with Vocus Inc., a public relations software firm in Beltsville, Maryland.

Mr. Larkin began his new role effective July 1. Longtime Alumni Director Denise Tray Rosson ’78, who announced her resignation earlier this year, is now pursuing new career opportunities.

With more than 4,600 active alumni, Severn School has been supporting alumni and connecting them to the Severna Park campus through a variety of programs and services for many years. Founded in1914, the School will celebrate its centennial this school year.
