1. Big Vanilla in Arnold Sold
The Big Vanilla in Arnold has been purchased by the Y of Central Maryland, and will be converted to the Greater Annapolis Family Center Y.   

2. Mi Pueblo Open, Serving Up Mexican Cuisine in Park Plaza
The wait is finally over—Mi Pueblo II is now open in Severna Park.  After a few delays in the schedule, an employee said the mexican restaurant officially opened for business on Wednesday. 

3. Dwyer Gets DUI, Year After Drunk Boating Accident
Maryland State Del. Don Dwyer, who was convicted last month of drunken boating in an August 2012 incident that injured seven people, was charged early Tuesday with driving under the influence, according to a police report. 

4. GNC Coming to Park Plaza
A GNC store is coming to Park Plaza in Severna Park. Construction on the nutritional supplement store has already begun inside the former home of Mattress Warehouse, which moved out of Park Plaza in June. 

5. After Local Fundraising Effort, Guatemala Clinic Opens for Business
For those of you who participated in the Good Neighbors Group fundraising endeavor for a medical clinic in Guatemala there is good news—the clinic is open for business.
