Here are five things you need to know today around Severna Park:

1. WEATHER & TIDES » Weather.com is calling for scattered thunderstorms with a high temperature in the low 80s on Tuesday. Overnight lows will be around 60. Wednesday’s forecast calls for mostly sunny skies with temperatures in the mid to upper 70s, and an overnight low in the upper 50s.

Tuesday’s tides at the U.S. Naval Academy in Annapolis: high tides at 10:04 a.m. and 11:06 p.m.; low tide at 4:52 a.m. and 4:07 p.m.
