Come join us on the dance floor! Davy Dance Academy is hosting a Zumba class at Woods Presbyterian Church in Severna Park on Monday afternoons from 4:30 pm to 5:30 pm. Taught by Certified Zumba instructor Angela Santos A Zumba workout mixes body sculpting movements with dance steps derived from cumbia, merengue, salsa, reggaeton, hip hop, mambo, rumba, flamenco, and calypso. The routines feature aerobic interval training with a combination of fast and slow rhythms. It targets areas such as the glutes, legs, arms, abdominals, and the heart. More About Woods Memorial Presbyterian Church
Known as Woods Church, Woods Memorial Presbyterian is located next to the Severna Park Community Center. The church offers many programs for youth and adults, and is known for its annual Holiday Bazaar and Nut Sale, held every November. Some of the event's highlights are baked goods, holiday greens, books and a gift shop where children can purchase gifts for their family and friends. The church has an active youth ministry, and its Child Development Center offers a summer camp for youngsters.
