Bay Theatre Company presents
The Belle of Amherst
March 30 - May 6, 2012
Washington, DC actress Kathryn Kelley and director Jerry Whiddon collabroate again for this beautiful play about Emily Dickinson.
Poetess Emily Dickinson was pert and unpredictable and this biographical drama engages us as it allows Dickinson to reveal herself as a strong individualist. Not a recitation or a reading, but a well-rounded work of theatre, this play will entertain with its wit and its whimsy. Dickinson was a great American poet, but first she was a nineteenth century American woman!
Performances: Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays at 8pm. Sunday Matinees at 2pm.
Tickets: $35 - $45, $55 = Opening Night, March 30, includes a Reception with Cast.

An outstanding production. Emily Dickinson was a puzzle, but one worth figuring out and appreciating. You will enjoy this fine work.
