 Lions Clubs International is the largest volunteer service organization 
 in the world. Since the club&rsquo\;s chartering in 1956\, we have worke
 d on numerous projects in the local community\, such as preschool and ad
 ult vision screening\, Adopt-a-Highway\, handicap ramp construction and 
 Meals on Wheels.&nbsp\; Every penny raised from the community is returne
 d to the community.&nbsp\; Proceeds from past fundraising events have pr
 ovided annual scholarships to graduating seniors at Severna Park and Bro
 adneck high schools\; supported Leader Dogs for the Blind which trains s
 ight and hearing assistance dogs\; and provided food and funds to the Se
