DESCRIPTION:The Rejoicing Spirits ministry reaches out to enrich the spir
 itual lives of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilit
 ies\, their families\, friends and other supportive community members.\n
 God's message of love is shared through a meaningful and adapted 30-45 m
 inute Christian worship service. Individuals are free to be themselves w
 hile actively participating as contributing members in an inclusive fait
 h community.&nbsp\; Fellowship prior to the service allows time for netw
 orking and building friendships.\nThe service includes lots of music and
  joyous singing\, along with brief\, meaningful messages. There are lots
  of opportunities for worshippers to serve\, lead\, learn and participat
 e. Especially important is that it's a shush-free environment.\nThrough 
 a Rejoicing Spirits Ministry\, congregations become aware\, educated and
  accepting of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabiliti
 es. Attitudinal barriers are removed allowing us to truly be one body un
