The 1st Annual May Basket Competition will welcome spring to the Chartridge community in Severna Park.
To celebrate May Day, residents of Chartridge are asked to make May Baskets and display them outside their homes. May Baskets must contain fresh cut flowers and be in a basket, or basket-like container, and must be clearly visible from the street. All displays must be out by 10am on May 1st for judging.

Two months of FREE membership at Sports Fit Fitness Club in Severna Park

More About Severna Park Middle School
Severna Park Middle School, a National Blue Ribbon School, is located on Jumpers Hole Road and is the feeder school to Severna Park High School. The school was built in 1967; it completed its two-year renovation in 2010. The new building is a nautically themed, state-of-the-art school.
In 2010, the school introduced iTouch technology, which gives students access to content-based applications, including the Internet. A fundraiser titled Mission Possible successfully raised money to equip the new classrooms with SmartBoard technology. The principal is Sharon Morell, and the school's motto is Park Pride.
