Zachary's Jewelers Patch: How long have you been in the jewelry business? Samaras: Since 1980. I've always been fascinated by how jewelry is made and how gems are mined. Patch: How long have you been in business, and why did you choose hardware? Clement: My family started the business in 1965 and we've been in this location since 1969. I've worked here since 1978 and became an owner in 1996. My dad was an industrial engineer but he hated corporate life so he left and open the hardware store he always wanted.
