Oh and I forgot to mention, I did have "hay fever" when I was a child, don't now. The onlyRead More thing that I know of that I am allergic to is a chemical called sulphites, my daughter is allergic to some seafoods, but not anything else that I am aware of, but my 3 grandchildren seem to be allergic to everything under the sun! And everyone I talk to seems to have children or grandchildren that are allergic to a whole host of things. So I say get out there and expose yourselves to lots of germs and dirt from a very young age. My mother-in-law used to say we all have to eat a peck of dirt before we die. (A peck is quite a lot, almost half a bushel I think!)

They you have to live in the real world. Get a job, work for a living, stop taking and giving. Try it, it works:http://obamalies.net/list-of-lies

I have noticed that as people get older they tend to have less and less colds. I wonder if this isRead More because each time we get a cold we become "immune" to that particular cold virus (I assume that there are many cold viruses, perhaps hundreds or more?) So as you go through life and have contact with many of these germs we get immunity to more and more of them. When we contact one, even if it is different to any we have met before, it may be close enough that our bodies defenses are able to handle it easily and quickly, often to a point that we barely know that we have had a cold. I am 72 years old now and as a child had more than my share of colds. When our daughter was born and went to school she often had colds and we caught a few of them. But I honestly cannot remember the last time that I had a cold. I doubt if I get more than a slight sniffle more than once a year. And I do meet a lot of people, in my job I meet hundreds and even thousands over a 2 or 3 day period, many have children and surely some must have colds, and yet I don't catch them. Why?
