A new exhibit titled "The Many Faces of Watercolor" debuts at the Benfield Frame Art Gallery on May 23 and continues through June 23. This solo exhibit features the work of nationally recognized and award-winning artist Ardythe Jolliff of Edgewater.
Jolliff's subject matter ranges from flowers, birds and shells—to buildings, landscapes and water views, according to the news announcement. Jolliff is also well known for her local scenes of Annapolis and the Naval Academy.
The public is invited to meet the artist from 2 to 4 p.m. June 2 when she will discuss her techniques and the source of her inspirations when creating a painting. Light refreshments will be served.
The Benfield Gallery is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday and is located at 485 Jumpers Hill Rd. in Severna Park next to the Benfield Shopping Center (Safeway).
